Golden Circle & Meet the Icelandic Horses - Small Group Minibus

8 hours

Easy

Discover Iceland’s legendary Golden Circle on a relaxed small-group minibus tour from Reykjavík, combining the country’s most famous natural wonders with a special opportunity to meet Icelandic horses up close.

Begin your journey at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic landscapes, fascinating history, and unique location between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where bubbling hot springs and steaming ground surround the famous Strokkur geyser, erupting high into the air every few minutes.

Next, experience the impressive Gullfoss waterfall, where powerful glacial water plunges into a rugged canyon, before visiting the colorful Kerið volcanic crater and its striking crater lake.

Along the way, enjoy a special stop to meet Icelandic horses up close. Spend some time with these friendly and iconic animals, pet them, take photos, and feed them special Icelandic Horse Candy, included with your tour.

This is not a horseback riding activity, making it a great option for travelers who would love to interact with Icelandic horses without getting in the saddle. No riding experience is needed.

Traveling by small-group minibus creates a more personal and relaxed experience, with fewer passengers and a friendly atmosphere throughout the day. Your knowledgeable guide will share stories about Iceland’s nature, history, and culture as you explore the Golden Circle.

Experience Iceland’s essential sights, spectacular landscapes and one of its most beloved animals, all in one memorable day from Reykjavík.
